Earlier this year, Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema announced a new Mortal Kombat reboot film set for release in 2021.

Today, Warner Bros. has revealed that the film will be releasing a bit earlier than its original March release date, and is now slated to come out on January 15 2021. While no reason was given, hopefully its a sign that production is proceeding more smoothly than expected.
