Nintendo has announced the next spirit event for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate starting June 5th.

This time, the event revolves around characters from the Nintendo 64 era. Defeating these spirits on the spirit board will allow players to earn more experience points than usual. It will run for three days starting this Friday.
