Are you a huge fan of Don Bluth’s Dragon’s Lair Trilogy on Switch? Well, whether you like it or not, the wacky adventures of Dirk the Daring will be hitting your TV screen in the future!

Netflix has confirmed that it is currently working on a live-action adaptation of the classic arcade game – which sees players following button prompts to avoid deadly traps. Apparently, Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds is also in talks to play the leading role of Dirk himself!

Netflix isn’t new to the realm of creating interactive movies – so it will be interesting to see if they adapt the timeless Dragon’s Lair gameplay into this project somehow! We’ll report back if we hear more in the coming months!
