New Nintendo 3DS Not Surviving in Europe Either

Earlier, we reported that the Japanese New Nintendo 3DS has ceased production. Nintendo of Europe has also just confirmed that this will also be the case for European Nintendo 3DS.

According to a report from Eurogamer (link), Nintendo of Europe has confirmed with them that the New Nintendo 3DS is being discontinued in Europe, leaving its larger sized brother, the New Nintendo 3DS XL, as the only 3D capable torch bearer in the 3DS family of consoles.

This signals the end of the faceplate changing New 3DS around the world as even in the North America’s case, only limited quantities were sold from the start as promotional bundles. That being said, the 3DS family does not seem to be dying any time soon with a projected growth, as well as, a strong lineup all the way to the holidays.
