The latest Nicalis Blog shared fresh new details about the new “rogue-lite” fantasy action game – RemiLore.
According to the blog, Studio Ghibli’s classic Laputa: Castle in the Sky has greatly inspired much of the game’s story, setting and characters. In addition, it has especially been influential in the design of the game’s enemy monsters. As a result, the developers created monster designs that were not particularly dark and gruesome.
The developers also shared a bit of a background about the game’s main protagonists, namely – Remi, Lore, and Choux. It seems Remi and Lore have been accidentally transported into Lore’s homeworld, Ragnoah, which is presently being terrorized by thousands of mindless mecha-monsters on a rampage. As it appears, these mecha-monsters were originally created by Choux.
RemiLore: Lost Girl in the Lands of Lore will arrive on Nintendo Switch in Winter 2018.
