Nintendo 3DS is the most popular dedicated handheld gaming console currently available in the market and the sales figure show.

At Nintendo’s financial brief, Nintendo President, Tatsumi Kimishima, said that the 7 year old family of consoles had sold over 72 million units world wide.

The Nintendo 3DS family of systems has reached a global cumulative series sell-in of 72 million units to a broad array of consumers.
