Although it’s less than 2 weeks left to the release of Nintendo Labo, pre-orders for the product are surprisingly moving very strongly on Amazon Japan.

According to Amazon Japan’s video game sales charts, Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 01: Variety Kit is currently the No. 3 bestselling video game item on the website (No. 2 for Nintendo Switch releases), even selling better than all variations of Nintendo Switch hardware. It’s only overshadowed by Kirby Star Allies and Far Cry 5.

The Robot Kit, however, isn’t selling as favorably as the Variety Kit. It’s currently the 60th best selling video game product on the website. It’s surprising to see the Nintendo Labo Variety Kit pre-orders moving so well this early, since the Variety Kit is currently No. 64 on Amazon US’s bestselling video game charts. We expect it to start catching up a few days before it launches.
