Nintendo has announced through the Nintendo Today! app Nintendo Live Tokyo 2025, an event focused on Nintendo Switch 2.

The event will take place at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition center (South Hall 1 and 2) from October 4 to October 5, 2025. During the event, attendees can try out Nintendo Switch 2 games, and the first Mario Kart World tournament called Mario Kart World: Invitational 2025 will be held at the event with participants from all around the world.

Registrations for the Mario Kart World tournament are scheduled to start in July 2025, and registrations for the event itself will begin in August 2025. More details will be shared at a later time.
