Mario Tennis Aces update 2.0.1 was launched earlier today – although not without some issues.
Apparently, accessing the game’s all-new Co-op Challenge Mode will crash the entire game. Users would then get the message: “The software was closed because an error occurred.”
Nintendo has since been working on a fix for the bug, and promised that they will release it via a patch on October 16 (Tuesday).
Co-op Challenge Mode would have allowed players to team up online and complete time-limited missions together. Completing these missions and certain objectives would have gifted players with special costumes for characters and more.
For now, however, it seems like players will have to sit patiently before they can enjoy the mode. Let’s hope Nintendo’s upcoming fix won’t break anything else.
