Nintendo Revokes Access To Early Leak Of NEO: The World Ends With You
Some days ago, a few lucky players managed to get their hands on digital copies of NEO: The World Ends With You early due to an error with the codes they received from pre-ordering the physical version of the game via Square Enix’s online store.
Since then, reports have come in confirming that Nintendo has revoked all access to digital copies of the game in response to this slip up. As detailed by dataminer Oatmealdome on Twitter, any players who previously had access to the leak will now be kicked out with an error code 2819-0003.

Nintendo have remotely revoked all digital licenses for the game after Square Enix accidentally sold eShop codes early.
Players were kicked out mid-game with the error code 2819-0003.
This is, as far as I and others know, a first for the Switch. https://t.co/fG27DSwekX

In addition, Nintendo has also sent out an email with an official clarification on what went down. Apparently, the error was due to a mixup on Nintendo’s side, as the codes provided by Square Enix were only meant to grant access to the pre-order DLC, and not the full version of the game. Square Enix will be issuing new codes to all those who pre-ordered the game.

Nintendo has now commented on the situation.
It appears that the error was on Nintendo's side – the codes were supposed to be for DLC, but they instead granted access to the full game.
New codes will be e-mailed out to those who pre-ordered. https://t.co/e4QbaZDkCq
