Nintendo of America has announced that price adjustments for Nintendo Switch hardware and select Nintendo Switch accessories will take effect from August 3, 2025 in the United States.

Price changes will also kick in for certain Nintendo Switch 2 accessories, amiibo, and Alarmo. For the time being, Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games, and Nintendo Switch Online plans remain unaffected from the price changes.

It’s currently unclear whether these price adjustments are price increases or price decreases, but considering the tariff situation in the United States, these are most likely going to be price increases.

The price changes will be reflected on the official Nintendo website from August 3, 2025. We will keep you informed once these changes take effect.

Also, keep in mind that prices for select Nintendo products in Canada have also increased as of August 1.
