Square Enix has announced a new Octopath Traveler game.

The game is titled Octopath Traveler 0, and is planned to release on December 4th 2025 for Switch and Switch 2. In a departure from the previous games, players get to make their own avatar, and are tasked with rebuilding their village after it is destroyed.
