Pikachu To Appear At The 70th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen

NHK has announced that Pikachu mascots from the Pokemon series will be appearing at the 70th Kōhaku Uta Gassen.

The Kōhaku Uta Gassen is an annual New Year’s Eve television show in Japan. Pikachu will be accompanied by popular idol group Kanjani Eight, which will debut with a song called “Kanjani Eight, Maemuki Ni Kibatte Kou Ze!”  The song is created in mind for the upcoming World Expo that will be held in Osaka in 2025.

Thanks, Brandon.
