Platinum Games is back with their trademark high-octane humor this April Fools’ Day.
The company revealed a ‘thrilling new original title’ through Twitter today, which would be titled Chief Executive Omni-Weapon Ken-Ichi…if it were actually real. Of course, the whole thing is a huge joke – as you’ll be able to see from the mock trailer below. Namely, the fake title would have featured Platinum Games CEO Kenichi Sato as an armored hero.

Given Platinum Games’ inane sense of humor in games like Bayonetta 2, however, we cannot help but imagine that such a game could actually be real someday! Sadly, we’ll just have to make do with regular future cops fighting off cyber demons, when Astral Chain launches later this year.
