PlatinumGames Explains Why Bayonetta 3 Is Not At E3 2019

Bayonetta 3, one of the most highly anticipated Nintendo Switch games, wasn’t shown at this year’s E3.

This has led some to worry that development has stalled, but thankfully that is not the case. PlatinumGames’ Atsushi Inaba told Video Games Chronicle that development is going well, and showing everything at E3 is not the smartest strategy:

“Games aren’t usually done in a year or two… it takes a while. That’s all. Things are going well and I know a lot of people are asking for it. Giving updates for everything at E3 isn’t the smartest PR strategy to begin with. So just because we’re not showing it here doesn’t mean it’s not going well.”

He also added the following:

“Yes, it’s going to be a high quality title and we’re putting our all into it. That is what you’re seeing [with the silence].”

Looks like we’ll have to wait a little while more before we get to see Bayonetta 3 in action.
