Play Kirby Star Allies And Splatoon 2 At World Hobby Fair 18 Winter

Nintendo has been a huge supporter and participant of the World Hobby Fair events in Japan, and this year is no different.

The company will have a booth at World Hobby Fair 18 Winter in Tokyo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Osaka later this month and in early February. Here’s what they are planning to do at the event.

For the first time in Japan, players can finally try out Kirby Star Allies on Nintendo Switch at the “Friends Play Experience Corner”. You’ll have to enter as a group of 2 to 4 players to try out the game. Participants who complete the play session will receive this sticker sheet:

Random participants from groups who have successfully completed the “Friends Play Experience Corner” challenge will get to enter the “Everyone Cooperate! Time Attack Challenge” where they will have to defeat Whispy Woods and King Dedede in the fastest possible time.

A Splatoon 2 tournament for elementary school students will be held during the World Hobby Fair 18 Winter event. Members of the winning team will walk away with special T-shirts and a CoroCoro Cup.

If you are above the age limit for the tournament, you can try out Splatoon 2 at the Play Corner and receive an original sticker sheet.

Last but not least, for beginners completely new to Splatoon 2, they can learn the basics of playing the game at the “Turf War Beginners Training Center”. Upon completing training, they’ll receive this card.
