To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Minecraft, Mojang and Microsoft have put out a free version of Minecraft called Minecraft Classic on the Internet.

Minecraft Classic is a game playable on modern web browsers for free. The classic version includes the original 32 blocks from Minecraft. You can play with up to 9 other players and load levels to play in Minecraft Classic.
