During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced the Poke Ball Plus will have some form of connectivity with Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Although it couldn’t be used as a game controller in Pokemon Sword and Shield, players could transfer Pokemon to the Poke Ball Plus to bring them out for walks and increase their bonds with trainers. More details to come..
