Pokemon Center Kyoto Kicks Off Moving Campaign

Pokemon Center Kyoto Kicks Off Moving Campaign

Last month, The Pokemon Company announced Pokemon Center Kyoto would be moving to a bigger and better location this March to prepare for the influx of visitors coming to Japan during the 2020 Summer Tokyo Olympics.

Today, we have learned there is a “Moving Campaign” going on at Pokemon Center Kyoto to celebrate Pokemon Center Kyoto’s final days at its current location. Apparently the moving campaign wasn’t announced on the official site, so we have to refer to details from an official brocheure.

First, the moving campaign takes place from January 19 to February 17, 2019. During the campaign, two post cards will be given out to visitors at Pokemon Center Kyoto. The first post card featuring Geisha Pikachu is given out from January 19 to January 31, while the second featuring the Kyoto Pikachu mascots will be distributed between February 1 and February 17.

Next, the Luigi Poncho Pikachu and Ho-Oh Poncho Pikachu mascots are visiting Pokemon Center Kyoto to meet fans. The meet and greet is scheduled for February 16 and February 17, taking place at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm daily for about half an hour.

Lastly, it seems a sticker coupon will be distributed to customers at Pokemon Center Kyoto Renewal from March 16 to June 30, 2019. This coupon could be used for purchases, but as we don’t have a full view of the brocheure we couldn’t confirm at this time.
