The Pokemon Company has made an important announcement for Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo, which recently underwent an expansion at Sunshine City in Japan.

The main Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo store will undergo a renewal (renovation) in Spring 2020. To facilitate this, Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo’s last day of operations is January 13, 2020.

The store will be closed from January 14 to January 15. From January 16, a small section of the store will reopen to offer a small range of products. Then, in Spring 2020, the fully revamped store will reopen.

During the renovation of Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo, Pokemon GO Lab., Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe, and Pokemon TCG Stage Mega Tokyo will continue to remain open.
