Pokemon Gender Can Now Affect Evolutions In Pokemon Go

Recently in Pokemon Go, dataminers have found evidence of of code that lets the game evolve Pokemon to certain evolutions based on their gender!

This means that certain Pokemon can turn in to a certain exclusive evolution depending on their gender!

The mechanic has not gone live just yet but will likely get used when future generations make their way in to Pokemon Go in future updates as it was a very big mechanic in the past.

This mechanic was originally introduced back in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl on the Nintendo DS in 2006 so it is great to see it come to the mobile game!
