The official Japanese Pokemon GO website has released details for Kanto Week, a week long event celebrating the Kanto region.

From April 11, 2018 to April 17 Japan Time, Kanto Week will be active in Pokemon GO. During the duration of the event, the spawn rate of Kanto region Pokemon such as Pikachu, Charmander, and more will greatly increase.

Trainers will also encounter Snorlax and Aerodactyl as Raid Bosses during the event.

If you catch any Pokemon or transfer any Pokemon to the professor during the duration of the event, you’ll receive double the amount of candy. This is a good opportunity to quickly evolve Pokemon!

In addition, Premium Raid Pass gift boxes will be available at the Game Shop for a limited time.
