Nintendo Co., Ltd., Creatures Inc. and Game Freak Co., Ltd. have registered a new trademark for Pokemon Home in Japan.

The trademark have been applied for purposes  including “downloadable videogame/smartphone program,” game cards, plush dolls and special events such as planning and operation of game competitions.

The wider scope of the trademark might hint that Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have more plans in store for Pokemon Home apart from the mobile app itself. That said, we would still have to wait for official announcements to be sure.
