The Pokemon Company has announced they will be cancelling the previously announced Dragon King Qualifier online competition for Pokemon Scarlet And Violet.
Originally planned to run later this week on December 1st, it has been cancelled due to the discovery of a bug where players could replace the Koraidon/Miraidon in their team with a different Pokemon when registering. The intent behind the tournament was to make it compulsory to have a Koraidon/Miraidon on your team to participate, and this bug means the tournament cannot be held as intended.
According to the official statement from The Pokemon Company Japan, they are looking into resolving this bug and opening the tournament again at a later date once everything is fixed. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
