In a recent tweet, James Turner shared that he designed the Fire/Bug type from Pokemon Sword and Shield adding to a sizable list of Pokemon created by a designer from outside of Japan.
According to his official account, James Turner was behind the design of Centiskorch, a Pokemon from the Galar region that first appeared in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
This adds to the list of Pokemon that were created by James Turner including the following.
It’s rare for Pokemon to reveal the creators behind specific Pokemon which makes this tweet notable.
Turner even went through his Twitter posts and deleted several posts related to Pokemon just a few months ago seemingly in relation to their content.
