Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures Inc. have registered two new trademarks for Pokemon Sword and Shield in Japan.

Trademarks registered are “ZACIAN” and “ZAMAZENTA”, the English names for the cover legendary Pokemon of Pokemon Sword and Shield. Application for both trademarks include video games, merchandise, and game competitions.
