Pokemon Sword And Shield Have Sold 1.7 Million Copies In Japan

Famitsu has published their Japanese market sales data for the week of November 18 to November 24, 2019.

Pokemon Sword and Shield, which sold 1.36 million copies at launch, have moved another 382,540 units on its second week, bringing its combined total to 1.74 million copies in Japan. The games remain the No. 1 bestselling games in Japan for the second consecutive week.

Ring Fit Adventure was surprisingly the second bestselling game of the week, moving 26,141 units. It is about to hit 300,000 units in lifetime sales in Japan.

Thanks to Pokemon Sword and Shield, Nintendo Switch family hardware sales continue to grow. The Switch sold 102,294 units, while the Switch Lite moved 77,698 units last week.
