During the Pokemon Direct, The Pokemon Company announced the release date and price for Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Pokemon Sword and Shield will launch for Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2019 worldwide. It will cost 5980 yen/USD59.99. Pre-orders for the game will begin in Japan on July 12, 2019.
