Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and Game Freak, the owners of the Pokemon brand, have registered a new trademark for “Pi!car!” in Japan.
The trademarks include the name “Pi!car! (ピッカー)” itself, as well as two images of what is presumably the design for this “car”. According to reports, Pi!car! is a “futuristic car project” designed as a collaboration between The Pokemon Company and Toyata, one that has a compact design and does not use petrol fumes.
The trademarks cover 42 different services across the “Vehicle” and “Education and Entertainment” categories. At the time of this writing, it seems the trademarks do not cover anything related to potential videogames based on the concept.
