Earlier today, Nintendo released the second Summer update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, bringing it up to Version 1.4.0.
Since its release, dataminer Ninji has posted some interesting findings pulled from the game’s code. As shared on Twitter, the update includes more references to cooking ingredients, as well as a potential “sewing” feature and a new type of shrub. It was also confirmed that the update adds some new dialogue options for the villagers.
That said, this datamined info should not be taken as confirmation that these features are indeed coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. We will be sure to share more once official confirmation is released by Nintendo.
