Random: Collector Tries To Pawn Original Copy Of Super Mario Bros For $1 Million At A Pawn Shop

The official Pawn Stars Youtube Channel recently uploaded a rather interesting clip featuring a copy of one of the most iconic title in videogame history.

For those who may not be aware, Pawn Stars is a TV series which follows the activities of the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, where various items are pawned and traded. In this recent clip, the owner Rick Harrison is approached by a videogame collector looking to pawn an extremely rare copy of Super Mario Bros from its early test launch, unopened in its original packaging.

During the discussion, Harrison was shocked when the collector asked for $ 1,000,000 in exchange for the game. This is of course an absolutely absurd price despite the rarity of this version of Super Mario Bros. In comparison, a similar unopened test launch copy of Super Mario Bros. went for around $100,150 at an auction in February.
