Random: Raunchy Bowser 3D Model Taken Down After Reported Nintendo Copyright Claim

While intended for family-friendly fun, Nintendo’s many colorful characters are often co-opted by the raunchier side of the web for all kinds of salacious shenanigans – such as when the internet exploded from the popularity of the fan-made Bowsette, a Princess-like version of Bowser. Well, it appears that the Koopa King is once again back in the spotlight for all the wrong (and long) reasons.

It’s not uncommon for many Not-Safe-For-Work (NSFW) artists to make a small living on platforms such as Patreon – such as in the case of artist AkkoArcade, who makes 3D adult art models for Source Filmmaker. However, one of AkkoArcade’s saucier creations was apparently taken down after a copyright claim from Nintendo of America:

So, what was so raunchy about this 3D artwork that it reportedly earned Nintendo’s ire? Well, according to AkkoArcade, it was none other than a detailed model of Bowser’s…well…we’ll just let AkkoArcade’s own words do the talking:

“This peepee got claimed by Nintendo.”

AkkoArcade has since speculated that someone else impersonating Nintendo’s lawyers could be behind this take-down. Nevertheless, it seems like Patreon has decided to play it safe by pulling the model from its site.

For what it’s worth, AkkoArcade’s 3D model of Bowser’s unmentionables is probably freely floating around the internet as we speak. Regardless of whether Nintendo really flexed its copyright muscles or not this time, it looks like the company has yet another meaty headache on its hands.
