Reggie Thinks Decision To Sell Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour May Be Incorrect

Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has shared his thoughts on Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour, which many fans have thought should have been a pack-in title, instead of a separate digital purchase for USD9.99.

For those who are unaware, Reggie pushed for Wii Sports to be a pack-in with the Wii as a universal experience for consumrs, something which Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto was strongly against and unhappy about as he thought software shouldn’t be given away for free to respect the hard work created by developers.

They ended up compromising by packing in Wii Sports in the west, and not including it in as a pack-in in Japan.

So, what does Reggie think of Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour? In an interview with NVC, Reggie said that he feels the decision to sell Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour as a separate product may be “incorrect”.
