The New Year is fast upon us, and this means players will be able to enjoy a special New Year’s Eve event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

As announced by Isabelle during her opening address, the New Year’s Eve event consists of a midnight countdown held outside resident services. During the last few minutes of the countdown, all the island residents will gather outside to enjoy a special fireworks performance. Tom Nook will also be there selling exclusive New Year’s items.
