As reported earlier this week, Nintendo will soon be revealing our first official look at the Super Mario animated film launching in April 2023. Thanks to a possible new leak however, it looks we may now have an earlier peek at what the plumber will actually look like in the movie!

As you can see below, a photo allegedly leaked from within McDonald’s Australia shows that the fast-food chain will apparently be hosting a tie-in for the film – with some promotional materials showing off what might be a new render of Mario from the animated film. At this juncture however, there’s no telling if this image has been faked in any way – or if the Mario render is for something else completely unrelated to the Super Mario animated film. As with all unconfirmed information, we advise our readers to take this information with a grain of skepticism.

Super Mario fans will just have to wait and see if this is truly how the heroic plumber will look like in the movie, when Nintendo officially shares more news later this week. Stay tuned.
