[UPDATE: DEBUNKED] Rumor: Leaker Hints That Fire Emblem Path Of Radiance And Radiant Dawn Remakes Are In The Works

[UPDATE]: The leaks have now been debunked, as the leaker has now clarified that they are no longer involved in leaking info, and the “hints” given were just their own hopes and speculation. The original article can be found below.

Nearly three years after the release of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, it seems we may finally have a clue as to what’s next for the series.

This set of rumors come courtesy of a Reddit user going by “thanibomb”, who was credited for correctly leaking several details about Fire Emblem: Three Houses during its pre-release period. In a thread discussing the recent upswing of Fire Emblem Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn content in Fire Emblem Heroes, the following exchanges took place:

  • As Redditors speculated about what the rise in Fire Emblem Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn related content could mean, thanibomb appears and suggests that its a hint at something “much bigger“.
  • In a response to one user theorizing that the content were originally meant to coincide with a set of Fire Emblem Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn remakes that were delayed due to COVID, thanibomb responds with a set of wide eyed emojis.
  • Thanibomb was also observed commenting on threads related to Radiant Dawn’s 14th Anniversary and the recasting of its characters with more teases hinting at deeper meaning.

In essence, the overarching rumor is that remakes of Fire Emblem: Path Of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn are currently in the works and were planned to release last year, but were unfortunately delayed due to COVID. Its important to note however that despite thanibomb’s past credibility, the leaker never explicitly states that the remakes are coming, only providing vague hints that this could be the case.

Although an interesting rumor, we caution readers to take the theory with a grain of salt. We will be sure to report back with more details as they come.
