With Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon out on Nintendo 3DS now, rumors have started to circulate on what the next Pokemon game on Nintendo Switch will be like.

During a recent podcast by Easy Allies, show host Damiani claimed he heard from trusted sources that Game Freak might be doing something “disruptive” like Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the next Pokemon game.

This is due to the positive reaction and success both Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild have received this year. It wouldn’t be far fetched either as Game Freak didn’t rule out an open world Pokemon game for Switch.
