After months of speculation, rumors, and leaks, it seems we may finally be getting some official information about Universal’s Super Nintendo World.

Earlier this week, Universal Orlando’s official Twitter account shared the following post, teasing “Something Epic” being announced on August 1st. According to rumors and insiders, this announcement will be about Universal Orlando’s third theme park, which Super Nintendo World will apparently be a major part of.

To add to these claims, many of these same insiders have said Universal has plans for even more Nintendo-related expansions in the future. This is of course provided that reception to Super Nintendo World in Japan, Florida, and Singapore is good.

That said, as with all rumors we caution our readers to take this speculation with a grain of salt. We will be sure to bring more updates on Super Nintendo World Orlando should they be announced later today.
