Although the empty slot is no longer present, sources from GoNintendo have spotted an empty slot in Nintendo’s Nintendo Direct page. An empty slot has usually signified an upcoming Nintendo Direct.

There is still much for Nintendo to end the year with. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is still expecting a DLC which will expand on the main game’s story. So maybe there will be a Nintendo Direct soon.
