While the Western world still awaits the localisation of Detective Pikachu, The Pokemon Company seems to be wasting no time working on the English version of Detective Pikachu Movie. That’s if the rumours are true.

Should they be true, the Detective Pikachu production team is looking to get either Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, Mark Wahlberg, or The Rock. Though neither of them all seemed like a detective to me, I’m sure they’ll do their best if called to task. Then again Detective Pikachu was never quite the conventional Pokemon game, so maybe there’s something in common there.
