Wayforward has shared an updated release window for the modern console version of Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution.

This “lost” entry in the Shantae series is now planned to release in Summer 2025 for modern platforms. It will feature the same graphics as the previously released Game Boy Advance version, but with added features such as high-definition character at, menus, and other visual elements. There will also be an extra 4-player battle mode with additional arenas not present in the Game Boy Advance version.
