[UPDATE] Shiny Zeraora Gift Now Live For Pokemon HOME, Servers Struggle To Meet Demand

As many of you know, a Shiny Zeraora is being given out via Pokemon HOME as a reward for over 1 million players completing the difficult Zeraora Max Raid event for Pokemon Sword And Shield.

The gift is due to be distributed today on June 29/30, and only requires players to have transferred a Pokemon into Pokemon HOME via the free box to be received. However, as a result of overwhelming demand, it seems players are experiencing a lot of errors trying to log in to claim their prize.

Luckily, players have plenty of time to redeem the gift, which will be distributed from now until July 7th. Presumably, things will have cooled off by then.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.

[UPDATE]: After a fairly long server maintenance, the app seems to have stabilized and players can now redeem their Zeraora with no problems. In addition, due to the final tally being 2 million players defeating Zeraora, players can also redeem 8 units of Armorite ore using a special code distributed via the app.
