Online shopping platform eBay has revealed more details on how the SNES Classic Edition changes hands on their website.

According to eBay, an average of 143 SNES Classic Edition units were sold every hour between September 29 and October 1, 2017. This means 2 units were sold every minute, and 3432 were sold each day. There were approximately 17,000 listings for the plug-and-play system, but not all of them were sold.

As compared to the NES Classic Edition, one unit was sold every 18 seconds in November 2016. Thus the SNES Classic is selling slower than the NES Classic in a sense, due to the higher number of SNES Classics available at launch.
