As you probably know by now there’s an Enter the Gungeon physical edition by Nighthawk Interactive coming to Nintendo Switch sometime in the future.
If you remember last year, Special Reserve Games announced they were working with Dodge Roll to print a physical edition of Enter the Gungeon for Nintendo Switch. With a physical edition coming from Nighthawk, what’s going to happen to Special Reserve Games?
Apparently Special Reserve Games CEO Jeff Smith told fans on Discord that they will “for sure” put out a physical edition for Enter the Gungeon Switch despite the recent news. This means there could potentially be two versions of the physical edition by two different publishers. He also said more news will be coming in the near future.
As a side note, yes, the original article has been taken down on request of the publisher. But we would like to clarify we were not bound by NDA and the same information was received by many other colleagues in the video game industry (to be clear, we’re not referring to the press).
NintendoSoup remains committed to delivering the best information we could to our readers and the community, and everything is done through proper means.
Thanks, JP’S SWITCHMANIA.
