Before the year comes to a close, GameIndustry spoke to several prominent figures of the game industry to ask for their thoughts on how 2017 has been like.

Square Enix producer Yosuke Saito minced no words. While he was happy that Dragon Quest XI and other Square Enix games have done well, Saito says he is “really jealous of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” because it won Game of the Year and claimed many awards this year.

That said, it was still “truly a happy year” for Saito thanks to the fans his games have.
