If you’re a Switch/PC gamer, here’s some good news: the latest beta release for the Steam client has added full support for the Switch Pro Controller! This includes the rumble and gyro features of the controller.

The details are fully laid out in this blog post on the Steam website. At this time, you will need to opt-in to the beta in order to use the Switch controller properly. But once you’ve enabled the option for Switch Pro Controller Configuration, you’ll be able to configure the Switch controller for any game. If you’re a fan of gyro controls for shooter games, for example, you’ll be able to set that up with ease.

Early reports indicate that the controller works in both wired and wireless mode. For wired, it’s recommended to use the cable that came with the controller. For wireless, you will need Bluetooth capabilities on your PC.
