On 27 October 2017, millions of fans began their globetrotting adventure in Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch!

As of today, the free-roaming 3D platformer is now three years old worldwide. The game was most notable for being the first Super Mario ‘collectathon’ game in a long time (since Super Mario Galaxy 2 launched in 2010) – and its story saw Mario travelling across the world to stop Bowser from forcefully wedding himself to Princess Peach!

To celebrate this occasion, Nintendo also released a special animation of Mario and friends dancing about. Check it out below:
