EVO Japan 2020, a Japanese eSports competition hosting multiple video games, will be held on January 24, 2020.
We have learned that in the span of 6 days, the number of participants for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament increased from 1256 to 2177. This means 1000 more people registered for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in 6 days.
It’s also worth noting that out of the 2698 participants that have registered for EVO Japan 2020, 2177 of them registered for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. That’s a whopping 80%.
