Switch Online Subscribers Receive Free Trial For Arms

From March 26 through April 6, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can access a free trial for Arms which includes access to the full game.

The free play period followed the reveal of an Arms character joining Super Smash Bros Ultimate as part of Challenger Pack 6. So players will be able to experience the game for themselves before the debut of the character in Smash.

Arms was one of the first games released for the Switch in June 2017 and lets players use the Joy-cons to control the punches of fighters with stretchy arms.

The temporary free play period is the latest perk for subscribers to Switch Online. Until now, subscribers have only had access to an SNES and NES games library to try out retro games but nothing as new as Arms.

Arms has had a demo available as well but the free trial will allow for online play and other features available in the full game.

This promotion may also be an effort to increase the amount of participants in the Arms North American Open scheduled starting on April 4th.
