The Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe officially arrived in Taiwan last Friday, and it seems there’s something special about Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

According to a report on PTT Web, owners of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in Taiwan are able to play the game in Traditional Chinese. It was then discovered the copies sold in Taiwan have been preloaded with Version 1.4.0, an update that hasn’t been released to the rest of the world yet.

Other than Chinese language support there doesn’t seem to be any other changes found in Version 1.4.0, but we’ll be sure to let you know if they exist.
